Aquarii SG Pte Ltd (“Aquarii SG”) was incorporated on 21st March 2021 through the partnership between Oceanus Group, a public listed company on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and Mr Michael Tan, [Founder & CEO], who was the former Ambassador to Cambodia from 2016-2020.
Aquarii SG aspires to be the bridge for foreign SMEs and investors interested in doing business or investing in Cambodia, but which encounter the ubiquitous challenges rooted in trust deficit and lack of familiarity of the emerging market. It intends to do so by leveraging its core team's reputation and collective experience, diverse network of contacts and familiarity with the local business environment.
Aquarii SG has developed and made accessible a free access online business platform with registered address at www.aquariibd.com to be positioned as the go-to conduit for foreign businesses and investors interested in establishing a business, partnership or investment in Cambodia, complemented by an advisory arm through its local subsidiary Aquarii BD Cambodia, a Business Strategy and Development company incorporated in November 2021.

We are committed to bridge business hurdles and barriers which are the foundational prerequisite to building a relationship of trust, integrity and transparency with businesses and investors. Aquarii will invest significant resources and manpower to support its expansion in Cambodia.

Michael Tan
FOUNDER DIRECTOR
Mr. Michael Tan is Aquarii’s Founding Partner and a Board Director in both Singapore and Cambodia. He has over 20 years of experience in Asia, particularly in the Mekong region. Prior to establishing Aquarii, he was the Singapore Ambassador to Cambodia from 2016 to 2020, where he took an active role to promote trade, collaboration, cross-border business partnerships, and knowledge-sharing between the two countries. Michael has served in several overseas assignments in Myanmar, South Korea & Japan. Michael has been the key driving force in formulating the strategic direction and development of the Aquarii SG's business, including Aquarii's expansion into Cambodia. Michael is based in Cambodia and will also lead the executive management team in Aquarii BDC as founder and CEO.

Peter H.K. Koh
FOUNDING PARTNER & BOARD DIRECTOR
Mr. Peter H.K. Koh, PBM, is Aquarii’s Founding Partner and Board Director. He is Oceanus Group Limited’s Group CEO since December 2014. Peter has been instrumental in jointly formulating the strategic direction and development of the Aquarii’ SGs business. Peter has more than three decades of experience he is a member of the Advisory Board of James Cook University and a member of the Advisory Council of the Singapore Aquaculture Innovation Centre & the 2018 Outstanding CEO Award by Influential Brands.

Duane Ho
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Duane Ho spent four years in a corporate advisory and restructuring firm, Borrelli Walsh. Duane's professional accreditations include CPA Australia, since 2013, and is a chartered accountant of Singapore. He is Oceanus Group Limited’s Group CFO and oversees Aquarii’s global financial functions, including financial planning and analysis, financial statement reporting, audit and corporate tax.
